Julio Bueno
In Memorium
Metallurgical Engineer with college degree from UFRJ and Masters in Production Engineering by the University of Birmingham (England), Julio Bueno has vast experience in energy and management.
His successful career started at Petrobras in 1978. He was President of Inmetro between 1995 and 1999, President of Petrobras Distribuidora (BR) from 2001 to 2003, and Secretary of Development and Energy for the state of Espírito Santo from 2003 to 2006, a position he also held in the state of Rio de Janeiro between 2007 and 2015. Additionally, he was Secretary of Finance for the state of Rio de Janeiro.
He was member of the National Council on Energy Policy for two years starting in 2009, and President of the National Forum of Secretaries for Energy Affairs from 2009 to 2010.
At Agerio, he was chairman of the Management Board from 2007 to 2014; since then, he is member of the Board.
Julio Bueno was an enthusiast of MONEX PARTICIPAÇÕES and develope an importante role during MONEX reestructuring phase to become a Holding Company
Benjamin Valle
With a bachelor’s degree in Economics Sciences by UFRJ, he has a master’s degree in Production Engineering and a doctorate in Strategic Planning by Coppe/UFRJ.
During his extensive professional career, he was Administrative and Financial Director from BRF Biorrefino de Lubrificantes between 2011 and 2015 and consultant in Management System Deployment from 2001 to 2010. In the academic area, he was professor at the MBA course in Corporate Management from FGV-Rio between 1998 and 2002.
With a degree in Business Management, he is graduated in Materials Management by Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and in Corporate Management by Faculdade Candido Mendes. In the academic area, he was also professor in institutions such as Coppe/UFRJ, ESPM, PUC-RJ and the Brazilian Navy.
He was responsible for Government and Institutional relations from the Brookfield group (former Brascan Brasil Ltda) in several Brazilian states and with embassies from different countries. He is also an independent consultant and coach.
At Monex since January 2016, he is the chief executive of MONEX GERAÇÃO - a company that develops PCHs and CGHs.
Oswaldo Ramos
Marco Capute
Electric engineer with a degree from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), he started his professional career at Petrobras, in 1979. He is graduated in Management - Executive MBA - by COPPEAD/UFRJ and frequented an extension course in Marketing Strategies at the Harvard Business School, in Boston, United States.
He was director at Petrobras Distribuidora (BR) from 1999 to 2008 and Secretary of Economic Development for the state of Rio de Janeiro between 2015 and 2016. Additionally, he was member of the Management Board from Liquigás and Chairman of the Management Board from CEDAE.
Diogo Bueno
Economist with degree from PUC-Rio and graduate in Finance by Coppead/UFRJ, he is directing partner at Wenergy Participações, founding partner at BRF Biorefino de Lubrificantes (a company in which he is also Chairman of the Management Board), and Chairman of the Board from RRF Participações. Since April 2017, he is member of the Energy Council from the Commercial Association of Rio de Janeiro (ACRJ).
He was directing partner of Genpower Participações from 2010 to 2011 and of Energreen Geração de Energia from 2008 to 2011. He started his corporate path in 2005, as founding partner of Solidez Engenharia, a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) distribution company.
Founding partner of Monexpar, he is responsible for the holding’s management and the strategic coordination of companies, as well as for new business development.
